DeBordieu Club features a championship 18-hole golf course designed by Pete and P.B. Dye. The Parkland course, which initially opened in March 1987 was most recently renovated In 2014 and plays to 7,284 yards from the Championship tees but offers six sets of tees which provide enjoyable golf for players of all abilities. Noted as one of the designers' favorite designs, DeBordieu has consistently been ranked among the top private clubs in South Carolina.Over the years, DeBordieu Club has been host to many regional championships including the Carolinas Mid-Amateur, Women’s State Amateur, Carolinas Senior Amateur, Men's State Amateur, U.S. Open local qualifying, U.S. Junior Amateur qualifying, and U.S. 4-Ball qualifying. In the summer of 2014, the entire golf course was resurfaced under the watchful eye of P.B. Dye. Besides all new tee complexes, the resurfacing included MiniVerde Bermuda greens, Celebration Bermuda in the fairways and roughs, and new sand in the bunkers. The new grasses have brought the course back to its origin and offers a wonderfully consistent course condition year round.
